Russian aircraft attacked the Pechenizka Dam with guided bombs

Russian occupation forces carried out a massive airstrike on a strategic facility in the Kharkiv region, dropping six guided bombs on the dam of the Pechenizke Reservoir.

This was reported by Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.

This attack on critical infrastructure poses a serious threat to the region, as the facility is one of the largest man-made reservoirs in the region.

According to Oleg Synyegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the strike was carried out in the Chuhuiv district.

The enemy deliberately targeted a hydraulic structure that is of strategic importance for the livelihood and safety of local communities.

Almost simultaneously with the raid on the dam, Russian invaders carried out a combined attack on the regional center.

To strike Kharkiv, the enemy used “Shahed”-type drones and the latest developments—the “Molniya” kamikaze drones—in an attempt to overload the Ukrainian air defense system as much as possible.

Active restoration and rescue operations are currently underway at the impact sites. Relevant agencies have mobilized significant resources to stabilize the situation and assess the damage to the hydroelectric facility, which came under attack from heavy aviation.

In Dnipro, the number of wounded following the Russian attack has risen to 15, including those with serious injuries
