Russian drones attacked three districts of Kharkiv; fires broke out in the city

A series of strikes by enemy drones has been reported in Kharkiv, targeting various parts of the city and causing fires at the impact sites.

According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the Novobavarskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Kyivskyi districts were targeted. No reports of casualties have been received so far, but experts are continuing to assess the damage caused by the attacks.

The first strike was recorded at a civilian enterprise in the Shevchenkivskyi district, where a "Molniya"-type UAV was used. Subsequently, the Kyivskyi district was attacked by two "Shahed"-type drones. Later, reports emerged of new strikes that led to fires in several locations across the city. The Situation Center and emergency services are working to address the consequences of the Russian airstrike.

Due to the constant threat from the aggressor, Kharkiv Oblast plans to significantly increase the number of private air defense groups. City authorities are urging residents to remain in shelters until the all-clear is given, as the risk of new attacks remains high. Prosecutors and investigators are documenting evidence of war crimes for further investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war.
