Russian occupiers attacked an industrial facility in the Poltava region
On the morning of March 27, Russian forces struck an industrial facility in the Poltava district.
The enemy attack damaged industrial equipment, leading to a widespread gas outage.
According to official information from Vitaliy Dyakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, thousands of local residents were left without gas supply.
Specialists are currently working to restore critical infrastructure.
“The enemy has once again attacked one of the industrial enterprises in the Poltava district. Due to damage to industrial equipment, 5,040 customers have been left without gas supply,” the head of the Regional Military Administration stated in his address.
Fortunately, according to preliminary data, there were no casualties or injuries. All relevant services promptly arrived at the scene to address the consequences of yet another war crime committed by the Russian Federation.
This attack was part of a massive nighttime raid on Ukrainian cities. During the night of March 27, the enemy deployed hundreds of attack drones, most of which were destroyed by air defense forces.
However, nine drones were recorded as having struck eight different locations across the country. Falling debris from the downed targets also caused property damage at four locations.
As a reminder, the Russians attacked energy facilities in Slavutych and cut off power to the entire city.
A restaurant in Kharkiv was also attacked with a Shahed drone, resulting in one casualty.
