A Russian drone attacked a UN humanitarian mission in Kherson
Russian occupation forces continue to carry out targeted attacks against the civilian population of Kherson using drones.
This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
At around 10:00 a.m. in the Korabelny district of the city, a local resident was killed as a result of another strike by an enemy UAV, sustaining injuries that were fatal.
Law enforcement agencies and medical personnel are currently working to identify the deceased woman from Kherson.
In addition to the attack on the civilian, the invaders directed their drones at vehicles belonging to an international humanitarian mission that were in the same area.
Vehicles belonging to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), which provide support to residents in the frontline zone, were hit.
The vehicles sustained significant damage as a result of the strike, complicating the work of international representatives in the region.
“Vehicles belonging to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs were damaged as a result of the strike. We are verifying information regarding casualties,” said Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Authorities emphasize that the attack on the humanitarian mission is a gross violation of international law.
