Photo: Russia struck a private home in Kharkiv; one woman was killed and nine people were wounded
On July 26, in the Slobidskyi District of Kharkiv, a Russian drone struck a private residential building. A 40-year-old woman was killed in the attack, and nine other people were injured, including two children.
According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the strike was carried out by a Russian “Banderole” drone. Initial reports indicated one fatality and six injuries, but the number of casualties later increased.
Sinyegubov specified that among the injured were a 10-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl. The boy, who suffered a blast injury, was hospitalized, while the girl, who experienced an acute stress reaction, received medical attention on the spot.
Also injured were men aged 54, 65, and 85, as well as women aged 34, 45, 53, and 65. All of the injured are under medical supervision.


As a result of the Russian strike, a private residential building was completely destroyed, and more than ten neighboring private homes were damaged.


Cleanup efforts are ongoing at the site of the attack. Units of the State Emergency Service, emergency medical teams, and other relevant services are on the scene.

On the night of July 26, Russian troops struck Kyiv, causing fires in the Desnianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Solomianskyi districts of the capital.
Over the past day, Russian troops carried out 1,029 strikes on 50 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of enemy attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, one person was killed and 12 others were wounded.
