A Russian drone struck a community in the Sumy region
Russian troops attacked the Krolevets community in the Sumy region with a drone, believed to be a rocket-type drone. Six people were injured as a result of the strike on civilian infrastructure; three of them were hospitalized. Buildings and vehicles were also damaged. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed.

According to preliminary information, the enemy used a jet-powered drone. “Krolevets community. The enemy launched a drone strike—presumably using a jet-powered drone—against civilian infrastructure,” Kalchenko reported.
Six people were injured as a result of the attack. Three of the injured were hospitalized, while the other three received medical care on-site or on an outpatient basis. According to the official, all the injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
In addition to the casualties, the strike also caused property damage. Civilian infrastructure buildings and vehicles located near the impact site were damaged. Experts are currently continuing to work at the site of the attack. They are documenting the consequences of the strike and determining the final extent of the damage.
Russian troops regularly launch strikes against border communities in the Sumy region, using drones, guided bombs, artillery, and other types of weaponry. Such attacks often result in casualties among civilians and damage to residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. This was reported by Ihor Kalchenko, Chief of Staff of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
As a reminder, on the night of July 30, Russian troops carried out one of the largest combined attacks on Ukraine, using more than 70 missiles and over 280 attack drones. Kyiv and the surrounding region, as well as the Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Poltava, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, came under fire.
In Poland, during the massive Russian missile attack on Ukraine on the night of July 30, an air raid alert was issued in part of the Lublin Voivodeship. After the alert ended, a crater about 10 meters in diameter and debris from an unidentified object were discovered in a field near the villages of Tarnava-Kolonia and Tokary.
