On May 20, a two-story residential building was destroyed in the Shostka District of Sumy Oblast as a result of a strike by a Russian drone.
The Shostka District Military Administration reported this on Facebook.
"Today, Russian troops launched a drone strike on the territory of the Berezivska community in the Shostka district," the statement said.
The strike destroyed a two-story residential building. A fire broke out.
As noted by the RMA, there were no casualties; the residents of the house managed to escape.
The consequences of the attack are being assessed.
The Sumy regioncame under heavy fire, with over 130 strikes in a single day, resulting in civilian casualties.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck drone control centers in the Korovyakovka and Tyotkino districts of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, a "Molniya" drone control center in the Dobrolyubivka district of the Kharkiv region, and command and observation posts near the temporarily occupied Zatyishne in the Donetsk region and Vysokoye in the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
