A Russian attack on Nikopol claimed one life
On August 10, Russian troops shelled a residential neighborhood in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. One person was killed in the attack, and several other local residents were injured.
Among the victims was a 76-year-old man who was hospitalized in moderate condition. Emergency services are working at the site of the strike, and details regarding the consequences of the shelling are being clarified.
“The enemy struck a residential neighborhood. Private homes were damaged. One person was killed, and three others were injured,” Ganza said.
He clarified that the 76-year-old man was hospitalized. Medical personnel assess his condition as moderate.
This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, on Monday.
As a reminder, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that if Russia continues to shell civilian logistics infrastructure in Ukraine, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will launch even more powerful retaliatory strikes against Russia’s logistics system.
