The SBU detained a Russian agent who was directing strikes in the Donetsk region
In the Donetsk region, law enforcement officers detained a woman suspected of collaborating with Russian intelligence services and providing guidance for Russian strikes on Ukrainian Defense Forces positions. According to the SBU, the agent passed information to the occupiers about targets in Kramatorsk and the village of Malotaranivka. The investigation established that the detainee is a saleswoman at a local store who was recruited by the FSB of the Russian Federation.

She covertly questioned store visitors for information about the deployment locations of the Defense Forces in frontline settlements. She also attempted to verify the information she received with her son, a soldier in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
SBU officers uncovered the enemy’s plans and detained the agent in advance.
At the same time, the locations of the Defense Forces within the FSB’s reconnaissance zone were secured.
During a search, a smartphone was seized from the woman containing an anonymous chat in a messaging app, where she coordinated her actions with a Russian intelligence officer.
It was established that the woman came to his attention on one of the Telegram channels, where she spoke out in support of the Kremlin regime.
Subsequently, the enemy recruited her under the guise of a close relationship and even promised to come to her if the region were captured.
Investigators from the Security Service informed the detainee of the charges against her under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).
The suspect is currently in custody. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
