Photo: The Russian military has received a new batch of Su-35S fighter jets
The Russian military has received another batch of Su-35S multi-role fighters. The aircraft is designed to gain air superiority, as well as to strike ground targets and infrastructure. The report on the delivery of the new aircraft is accompanied by published photographs of the equipment.

The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has delivered a new batch of Su-35S fighters to the Russian Armed Forces.
According to the Russians, the aircraft underwent a full cycle of factory testing prior to this. Pilots from the Russian Ministry of Defense tested the fighters in various operating modes, after which the aircraft flew to their permanent base.
The exact number of aircraft in the new batch has not been disclosed. However, published photos and video footage suggest that the Russian military may have received at least two new Su-35Ss.
Experts noted a rather interesting detail. During the handover of the new fighters to the army, a Russian pilot noted that the list of tasks the aircraft performs has expanded.
Whereas previously these combat aircraft were primarily intended for destroying other aircraft and attacking ground targets, they are now being used specifically to combat UAVs.
