The SBU carried out strikes on the Dzhankoy airbase and enemy infrastructure in the temporarily occupied territories
Units of the Security Service of Ukraine’s “Alpha” Special Operations Center attacked a number of enemy military targets in Ukraine’s temporarily occupied territories over the past week. Targets included the Dzhankoy Air Base in Crimea, logistics hubs, ammunition and fuel depots, as well as deployment sites for drone operators.
According to the security service, at the Dzhankoy Air Base, SBU drones struck relay stations for Russian “Orion” strike and reconnaissance drones, as well as warehouses containing weapons and military equipment. Strikes were also carried out against infrastructure at the “Crimea” port in Kerch and against ammunition and fuel/lubricant depots in the towns of Novohryhorivka and Chervone.
In addition, the SBU reported the destruction of a Russian military logistics hub near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. According to the agency, the facility housed drones, ground-based robotic systems, and ammunition, and the hub itself provided logistical support to the occupying forces in this area.
Ukrainian special forces also struck permanent deployment sites for operators of Russian drone systems in the towns of Komysh-Zorya and Kamianka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, as well as military depots in Hranitne and Styl in Donetsk Oblast.
This was reported on July 8 by the Security Service of Ukraine.
As a reminder, critical power outages continue on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula; these began on the night of July 6 as a result of a successful series of strikes on key energy infrastructure facilities.
In the Rostov region, drones attacked tankers in the Taganrog Gulf.
