In Kostiantynivka, a drone delivered food to an abandoned dog
In Kostiantynivka, Ukrainian soldiers helped an abandoned dog in an unusual way. They attached a piece of sausage to a drone and dropped it right into the yard where the animal was.
A video of this moment quickly went viral on social media and touched the hearts of many users.
The footage shows a private yard in Kostiantynivka where a lone dog is running around. It is unknown how the dog ended up without its owners. It’s likely that the people were forced to leave their home due to constant Russian shelling. Ukrainian soldiers decided to help the animal. They attached a piece of sausage to a drone and flew over the yard.
The operator then made a precise drop. The sausage landed right in the yard. The dog quickly spotted the food, ran over to it, picked up the piece, and, finding a comfortable spot, began to eat. The video was posted on social media. It shows the dog watching intently as the sausage falls from the sky and then happily enjoying the unexpected treat.
This isn’t the first time such stories have occurred in frontline cities. Due to the fighting, many pets are left without owners and often lack access to food and water. Ukrainian soldiers frequently help these animals. They share their own supplies, rescue abandoned dogs and cats from dangerous areas, or hand them over to volunteers.
This time, a drone served not only as military equipment but also as a way to quickly help a starving dog left alone in the middle of a frontline city. A video of the incident was shared on social media.
As a reminder, in Odesa, the number of casualties from the Russian strike has risen to 11, with one person in critical condition.
On July 7, Russian troops attacked Odesa with a ballistic missile equipped with a cluster warhead.
