Unmanned aerial systems struck more than 1,300 Russian targets in a single day
Over the past 24 hours, units of the Unmanned Systems Forces struck or destroyed 1,393 enemy targets. Among them were three Russian Navy vessels and 44 drone launch sites.
Among the targets struck were:
- 415 personnel, of whom 234 were neutralized;
- 44 drone launch sites;
- 10 radar stations, electronic reconnaissance stations, electronic warfare systems, and communications equipment;
- 97 vehicles;
- 227 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles of the “copter,” “wing,” “Shahed,” and “Gerbera” types;
- 3 Russian Federation naval vessels.
Since the beginning of September (September 1–15), units of the Unmanned Systems Group have struck 31,051 enemy targets, including 6,280 enemy personnel.
This was reported on the morning of September 16 by the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces.
Over the past 24 hours, 278 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines. Russian troops carried out the most assaults in the Pokrovsk direction—Ukrainian defenders repelled 43 enemy attacks.
As of September 16, 2026, the Ukrainian military had eliminated 1,530 Russian occupiers over the past 24 hours. The total losses of the Russian Federation’s army increased by another 1,530 soldiers.
Since the beginning of the day on September 15, there have been 219 combat engagements on the front lines. Russian troops launched the most attacks in the Pokrovsk direction—there, Ukrainian forces repelled 38 assaults.
