Defense forces repelled a Russian assault near Bochkove in the Kharkiv region
Ukrainian troops thwarted an attempt by Russian occupiers to capture the village of Bochkove in the Kharkiv region.
This was reported by the 16th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the enemy formed assault groups from the 126th and 127th motorized rifle units and attempted to advance toward Bochkove along two routes.
Thanks to the coordinated actions of the Defense Forces and effective command, the movement of Russian units was detected in a timely manner.
A combined strike was launched against the enemy using artillery and drones, after which they retreated to their starting positions.
According to radio intercepts, the occupiers’ losses amount to at least two killed and several wounded.
