The Defence Forces destroyed another 760 occupiers in a single day
The Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to confidently destroy the enemy’s potential, eliminating another 760 Russian invaders over the past day. According to updated data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the total personnel losses of the enemy since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, as of 16 March 2026, have reached approximately 1,279,930 personnel.
Ukrainian defenders demonstrated high effectiveness in counter-battery warfare, disabling 19 artillery systems and one multiple launch rocket system over the past day.
In addition, air defence units managed to bring down a record number of operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles — 1,883 units in a single day.
An important achievement was the official confirmation of the destruction of another enemy ship, which resulted from successful earlier strikes on maritime targets. As a result, the total number of vessels and boats lost by the occupiers has increased to 33 units, significantly weakening the enemy’s capabilities in the maritime domain.
The statistics of equipment losses over the past day were also supplemented with new figures: two armoured combat vehicles and one air defence system were destroyed.
Enemy logistics suffered another blow, as Ukrainian fighters destroyed 111 units of motor vehicles and fuel tankersthat had been supplying frontline units.
Particular attention was paid to specific targets, including the destruction of two units of the occupiers’ special equipment.
Despite the fact that the number of destroyed tanks and aircraft did not change over the past day, the overall scale of losses indicates the systematic depletion of the aggressor’s resources in all directions.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck drone depots and occupiers’ bases in three regions.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine also liberated more territory in one month than the enemy captured for the first time since 2024.
