The enemy has carried out 54 attacks along the front line since the start of the day — General Staff

Since the start of the day on April 18, 54 combat engagements have been recorded along the front line, with the highest enemy activity observed in the Pokrovsk direction.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to military sources, Russian occupiers attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 13 times in the Pokrovsk direction. Fighting continues.

In the Kostyantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 12 attacks, and some of the clashes are still ongoing.

Active combat operations were also recorded in the Huliaipole sector, where Ukrainian forces repelled nine attacks.

The situation remains tense on other sections of the front: fighting continues in the Lyman, Kupiansk, Kharkiv, and southern sectors.

In addition, Russian troops continue to shell border areas of the Sumy region.

The Russians also struck a meat processing plant in the Kharkiv region with a "Molniya" drone—three people were injured.

Over the past 24 hours, Russia has carried out 1,355 strikes on the Donetsk region, resulting in one death and several injuries.
