Syrsky revealed the size of the largest Russian military group on the front lines
Russian occupation forces have concentrated the largest number of troops along the Pokrovsk sector of the front line.
This was reported by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi in an interview with the news portal “Military.” According to the commander-in-chief, the enemy force in this sector numbers about 99,000 soldiers.
This section of the front remains the top priority for the Russian army command. Oleksandr Syrskyi described the concentration of enemy troops as a massive number. He also assured that units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are currently doing everything possible to steadily reduce the number of these enemy personnel.
In certain areas, the Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to advance up to three kilometers into the Russian troops’ defensive positions near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.
On the night of May 19, Russian troops once again attacked the Izmail district of the Odesa region. Port infrastructure facilities in Izmail came under fire.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, more than 20 attacks involving artillery and drones were recorded on May 19, resulting in two people being wounded. The shelling damaged infrastructure facilities, administrative buildings, and private homes in several districts of the region.
On the night of May 19, Russian drones attacked Kharkiv. A fire broke out in one of the city’s districts as a result of the strike. Information regarding possible damage and casualties is being verified.
