Tonight, during shelling, Russia used only three Tu-95s; the rest went for spare parts
According to Ukrainian military sources, tonight the enemy deployed only three Tu-95 aircraft, likely the only bombers of this type still operational. They were joined by Tu-160s, which attacked Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
This was reported by blogger Serhiy Naumovych.
All the cruise missiles fired were successfully intercepted by air defence forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine report. Experts note that this indicates Russia is now using the last available resources of its strategic aviation, while other aircraft serve only as sources of spare parts.
Amid Ukrainian counterattacks on the ground and Russia’s economic problems, the situation for the Kremlin appears extremely difficult, which, according to experts, may have prompted new threats of nuclear hysteria.
Ukrainian military officials emphasise that, strategically, Russia is in a losing position, while Ukraine’s defenders continue to successfully repel attacks.
It should be recalled that Russia has attacked Ukraine using ballistic missiles, “Shahed” drones, “Kalibr” missiles, and Tu-95 bombers.
