Photos, video: Thick smoke once again engulfed Tuapse following the attack on the oil refinery

The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a fourth strike on an oil refinery in the Russian city of Tuapse. Heavy smoke was observed at the impact site, a fire broke out, and the city was shrouded in thick fog. 

This was reported by Nexta.Live and local media outlets. 

Earlier reports indicated that at least one fuel tank caught fire at the Tuapse oil refinery following the overnight strike.

Local authorities confirmed the fire in the area of the marine terminal, which is part of a single industrial complex with the oil refinery.

 

 

 

 

After the fire, thick smoke rose over the city, covering part of Tuapse. Information regarding the extent of the damage and potential consequences for the facility’s operations is being clarified.
