The SSO reported that an oil tanker and a terminal in Kerch had been struck
On the night of July 6, Deep Strike units of the Special Operations Forces carried out strikes against an oil tanker and an oil terminal used by Russia to support its fuel logistics.
According to military sources, drones struck a “Volganeft”-class oil tanker that was in the Sea of Azov. The Special Operations Forces note that such vessels are a crucial component of Russia’s fuel logistics, as they are used to transport petroleum products between refineries and to supply fuel.
In addition, the Ukrainian military struck an oil terminal in the port of Kerch in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea once again.
“The oil depot plays a key role in the logistics of petroleum products on the occupied peninsula. The terminal handles the receipt, storage, and transshipment of oil between the railroad, the tank farm, and tankers,” the Special Operations Forces (SSO) emphasized.
The Special Operations Forces noted that the results of the strikes are currently being assessed.
The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
As a reminder, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out strikes on oil refineries and military facilities in Russia and Crimea.
In addition, according to OSINT analysts, drones attacked Russia’s largest oil refinery in Omsk, located 2,500 km from the border with Ukraine.
