There have been 214 clashes on the front lines since the start of the day – General Staff
Since the start of the day, there have been 214 combat engagements on the front lines; the Russians have mainly focused their offensive on the Kostiantynivka, Sloviansk, and Pokrovsk sectors.
This is according to operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 p.m. on July 6.
According to the General Staff, eight combat clashes with the enemy took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, two of which are still ongoing. The enemy carried out 27 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops, including one using a rocket system.
Over the past 24 hours in the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched six assaults on the positions of our units in the area of Vovchansk, Starytsia, and toward the settlements of Volokhivka, Izbytske, and Chaykivka. Two firefights are still ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy has not conducted any offensive operations so far.
Eleven attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman sector in the areas of Yampil, Nadiya, Novoselivka, and toward the settlements of Borova, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, Ozerne, and Dibrova. Three more clashes are currently ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 23 attempts by the invaders to advance toward the settlements of Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and in the area of Riznykivka and Zakytne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, no offensive actions by Russian invaders were recorded.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 25 enemy assaults in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Ivanopillia, and toward Stepanivka, Toretsk, Kucherove Yar, and Vilne. Another firefight is currently underway.
The enemy carried out 32 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around the settlements of Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, and Filiya, as well as toward the settlements of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, and Novopidhorodne.
According to preliminary estimates, 33 occupiers were killed and 16 wounded here today; two vehicles, one piece of specialized equipment, and one UAV command post were destroyed. Four artillery systems, two enemy vehicles, and 94 personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 239 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched four attacks in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Ternove, and Kalynivka.
In the Huliaipole sector, the Defense Forces successfully repelled 14 enemy attacks directed at the settlements of Dobropillia, Vozdvizhivka, Tsvitkove, and Huliaipole.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders stopped two enemy attempts to advance toward Lukyanivske and in the area of Mali Shcherbaky.
In the Prydniprovsk sector, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
In other sectors, there were no significant changes in the situation.
