Russia’s “shadow fleet” has suffered new losses. At least six tankers were struck, as confirmed by the public tally of combat results maintained by Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces.

 

On the night of July 17, six more vessels of the Russian “shadow fleet” were damaged in the Black Sea. 

According to a monitoring channel, six vessels of the Russian Federation’s “shadow fleet” were reported to have been struck in the Black Sea on the night of July 17. There is no detailed list of the affected tankers or specifics regarding the nature of the damage yet—the source limited itself to the total number.

Occupied Telegram channels are also reporting on the possible attack, expressing concern over the fleet’s latest losses in the area.

Data on the six damaged vessels is also recorded by a public counter that tracks the combat results of the Unmanned Systems Forces. As of now, neither the General Staff nor the Unmanned Systems Forces have officially confirmed or denied this information.

Western analysts have pointed to signs that the Kremlin finds itself in a difficult position.

Putin ordered an investigation to identify the main culprits of the war among Ukraine’s allies.
