Fires broke out in Chernihiv following a Russian drone attack
An attack by enemy drones was reported in Chernihiv, resulting in fires and damage to residential buildings in the city.
This was reported by Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, on Telegram.
According to him, private homes caught fire due to the crash of enemy UAVs. Additionally, one of the drones exploded near a high-rise building—the blast wave shattered windows and damaged the building.
Prior to the attack, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of drones moving toward Chernihiv from the east.
An air raid alert has been declared in the city. Information about casualties is currently being verified.
