Video: Drones Have Again Attacked One of Russia's Largest Oil Refineries
On the night of July 6, drones struck the “Slavneft-YANOS” oil refinery in Yaroslavl, Russia. A fire broke out on the refinery’s grounds following a series of explosions.
According to monitoring channels, the drones attacked the “Yaroslavnefteorgsintez” (YANOS) oil refinery, better known as “Slavneft-YANOS.” Local residents report air defense activity and explosions in the industrial zone. According to available information, the explosions continued for some time after the initial strikes. As of this writing, there have been no official comments from Russian authorities regarding the extent of the damage.
“Slavneft-YANOS” is the largest oil refinery in northern Russia and consistently ranks among the country’s top five enterprises in terms of crude oil processing capacity. The plant’s capacity is approximately 15 million metric tons of crude oil per year. The company specializes in fuel and oil products and produces automotive gasoline, Euro-5 standard diesel fuel, jet fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, and lubricants. The controlling stake in the parent company—PJSC “NGK Slavneft”—is owned by Russia’s Rosneft and Gazprom.
This was reported by the Telegram monitoring channels “Exilenova+” and “Supernova+.”
As a reminder, seven people were killed as a result of a massive strike on Kyiv.
Earlier, Zelenskyy warned that Russia was preparing a new massive strike.
We also recall that the Russians last launched a massive attack on Ukraine on the night of July 2. At that time, Russian forces launched 496 UAVs of various types and 74 missiles—air-, ground-, and sea-based—of various types at Ukraine.
