About 100 apartments were destroyed in Dnipro following a rocket strike
As a result of the Russian missile attack on Dnipro on the night of June 2, approximately 100 apartments were destroyed, leaving an estimated 300 residents homeless.
This was reported by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
According to him, Russian forces launched three missiles at two residential neighborhoods containing exclusively civilian structures. In total, about 40 buildings were damaged.

“100 apartments were destroyed, leaving about 300 people homeless. But these are approximate figures; they may rise,” Ganza noted.

Most of the damaged buildings are older structures with wooden floors. Preliminary assessments indicate that some of them will be extremely difficult to restore, and others may be deemed beyond repair. Experts are currently inspecting the damaged buildings.

The regional governor also reported that following the initial shelling, the enemy launched a second strike with ballistic missiles. As a result of the attack, a State Emergency Service employee—who was among the first to arrive at the scene to organize rescue operations—was killed.
In total, 16 people were killed in the strike, including two children. Another 42 people were injured.
