In the Dnipro district of Kyiv, debris from a downed Shahed drone fell into the courtyard of a residential building
Since this morning, Kyiv has been under attack by drones, which have already triggered nine air raid alerts and led to changes in subway service. This evening, one of the Russian “Shahed” drones was shot down in the Dniprovskyi district. No one was injured.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that the drone had been shot down.
“In the Dnipro district, debris from an enemy UAV fell in the courtyard of a five-story residential building. There is no fire. UAVs are still flying toward the capital. Stay in shelters!” Klitschko said.
As a reminder, changes have been made to train schedules on the red and green lines of the Kyiv Metro.
In the capital, air raid alerts were issued nine times on August 18 due to the threat of UAVs.
Air defense systems were activated in the Kyiv region due to a Russian attack.
