The Donetsk Regional Military Administration has refuted Russian propaganda claims about the alleged capture of the city. Volodymyr Rybalkin, head of the Svyatogorsk City Military Administration, is in Svyatogorsk and reports that the front line is very close by.

The Donetsk Regional Military Administration stated that Russian propaganda outlets are spreading false information about the alleged capture of the city. According to the Regional Military Administration, these reports are untrue. Russian media outlets are also attempting to back up their claims with staged footage. “Russian propaganda outlets continue to spread false reports about the alleged ‘capture’ of Svyatogorsk and are trying to support them with staged footage. In reality, Svyatogorsk remains under Ukrainian control,” the Donetsk Regional Military Administration reported.
At the same time, the situation in the city remains very difficult. According to Volodymyr Rybalkin, head of the Sviatohirsk City Military Administration, who is currently in Sviatohirsk, the front line is located nearby. Russian troops regularly shell the city. As a result, there is a constant threat to both local residents and civilian infrastructure.
Despite the shelling, Ukrainian forces continue to control Svyatogorsk. Local authorities have also not left the city and continue to operate on the ground. The city administration’s operations depend on the security situation. The authorities are trying to maintain essential services in Svyatogorsk as much as possible given the proximity of the front line and constant attacks.
The Donetsk Regional Military Administration emphasizes that information about the situation in the city should be obtained from official sources. Russian propaganda regularly circulates reports of the alleged capture of Ukrainian settlements in an attempt to create the impression of Russian military successes. In the case of Svyatogorsk, Ukrainian authorities have explicitly refuted such claims.
At the same time, this does not mean that the situation in the city is calm. On the contrary, Svyatogorsk remains dangerous due to its proximity to the front lines and Russian shelling. According to Volodymyr Rybalkin, the city continues to live under a constant threat. Despite this, local authorities remain in place and are supporting the operations of essential services.

Russian troops struck a residential building in Kherson with a guided aerial bomb. Three people were injured in the attack—an 84-year-old man, a 75-year-old woman, and a 43-year-old man. All were taken to the hospital.
Russian drones caused major fires in the Synelnykivsky District of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. A food warehouse and a logistics company building caught fire, and rescue workers had to work on site all night. The fire was successfully extinguished.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops engaged in combat with the Ukrainian Defense Forces 245 times. The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction—43; another 17 assaults took place in the Kostiantynivsk direction, and nine each in the Pivdenno-Slobozhansky and Kupiansk directions.
Over the past day, the Russian army lost another 1,390 soldiers in the war against Ukraine. The Ukrainian General Staff also reported the destruction of three multiple-launch rocket systems, one air defense system, and more than 1,400 drones.
