The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported a decrease in Russian activity in the Sumy region
Russian military activity along the border of the Sumy region has recently decreased, but fighting continues in certain areas. According to the State Border Guard Service, in the area of the Yunakivska community, the occupiers continue to attack the positions of the Defense Forces with small infantry groups.
Andriy Demchenko, a spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, spoke about this during a televised marathon.
“In some areas, enemy activity is noticeable, but overall, recently—again, in the defense sectors held by State Border Guard Service units within the Sumy region—there has been a certain decrease in the enemy’s efforts to advance,” Demchenko noted.
However, a decrease in enemy activity has not been observed in all sectors.
In particular, within the Yunakivska community, the enemy continues to deploy infantry groups to attack the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
