An office building caught fire in Kyiv following an attack by the Russian Federation
Since the morning of September 8 and throughout the day, Russian drones have been attacking Kyiv. An office building caught fire in the Solomyanskyi district as a result of the enemy strike.
This was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram.
“An office building caught fire in the Solomyanskyi district as a result of an enemy attack. Emergency services are heading to the scene,” the message reads.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that there have also been calls for medical assistance in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
“We’re seeing good results in shooting down cruise missiles, but it’s not so easy with ballistic missiles,” said Zelenskyy.
On September 8, Russian troops struck a Kyiv–Sumy train with two “Shahed” missiles. The train had been stopped in advance, and passengers and crew members were evacuated following a warning from the Ukrzaliznytsia monitoring team.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to the Russian attack.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
Later, rescue workers showed the aftermath of the strikes on Kyiv.
