Video: Debris from a Russian drone fell on a playground in Kyiv
On September 8, during a Russian attack, debris from a drone fell in a residential neighborhood of Kyiv. Most of it fell onto the roadway near a bus stop, while one piece landed on a playground.
This was reported by journalist Oleg Borisov. According to the journalist, these fragments belong to the very same drone that struck a 22-story building in the Darnytskyi district of the capital. In a video that was released, law enforcement officers are seen examining the remains of the UAV and confirming that it is indeed a drone, not a missile.
The journalist noted that one of the drone parts found bears a manufacturing date of July 7, 2025, meaning the part was manufactured more than a year ago.
In the Sumy region, Russian troops carried out a series of strikes on civilian targets. As a result of the attacks, an 83-year-old woman was killed, and at least 16 other people were injured.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to an attack by Russia.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
Later, rescue workers showed the aftermath of the strikes on Kyiv.
