Explosions were heard in Kyiv; a drone crashed into an office building
On the evening of September 10, Russian forces once again attacked Kyiv with strike drones. A series of explosions rocked the capital, after which a yellow alert was declared in the city.
A warning about the threat of drone attacks was issued around 6:31 p.m. Just a few minutes later, at 6:40 p.m., Kyiv residents heard explosions.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that air defense forces were engaging the enemy drones and urged residents to remain in shelters.
The initial consequences of the attack later became known. In the Obolon district, one of the drones crashed into a two-story office building.
There is currently no information in the report regarding casualties or the extent of the damage.
As of 1:17 p.m., there were nine casualties in the capital as a result of the morning attacks, the mayor noted.
In Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district, a Russian strike drone struck a 16-story residential building. Information regarding possible casualties is currently being verified.
