A rocket struck an unfinished building in Kyiv, injuring construction workers
During the Russian attack on Kyiv, one of the missiles exploded near a construction site belonging to the development company SAGA Development in the Pochaina district. Six construction workers were injured in the incident.
This was reported by Andriy Vavrysh, founder and head of SAGA Development.
"As a result of yet another Russian attack, an explosion occurred in the immediate vicinity of our Boston Creative House project," he wrote on Facebook.
Vavrysh said that the rocket exploded near the construction site.
"Our construction workers were injured by the shock wave. Six people were hospitalized. Two of them are currently in serious condition and are undergoing surgery," the post states.
According to him, a standard construction trailer standing next to the explosion site absorbed the brunt of the blast.
"Perhaps it was this trailer that saved the people behind it. And for that, I want to give a special thanks to fate today," he wrote on Facebook.
The facility itself sustained serious damage: windows and facade elements were blown out, and the interior of the building, equipment, and construction site were damaged.
Vavrysh noted that the company’s infrastructure has already been damaged multiple times as a result of Russian strikes.
"Today’s strike will also affect the timeline. Yes, we will be forced to adjust the commissioning date. But neither war, nor destruction, nor intimidation will stop us," he wrote on social media.
In Kyiv, 60 cars were burned in a massive attack by the Russian Federation, and two security guards were killed.
As a reminder, the death toll from the massive drone attack on Odesa on January 27 has risen to four. An elderly man died in the hospital from his injuries.
On the night of January 29, Russia struck Odesa with attack drones, causing a fire at one of the industrial facilities.
As a reminder, the enemy attacked an infrastructure facility in Odesa with drones.
Drones also attacked an oil depot in the Voronezh region.
