Video: Border guards destroyed a Russian "Buk-M3" air defense system worth about $50 million
Fighters from the “Phoenix” unit of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region destroyed a Russian “Buk-M3” anti-aircraft missile system. According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the system—estimated to be worth approximately $50 million—was being moved closer to the front lines by the occupiers.
“Border guards from the ‘Phoenix’ unit in Donetsk Oblast destroyed the ‘Buk-M3’ anti-aircraft missile system right on the move,” reads a statement from the State Border Guard Service on Telegram.
It is reported that the occupiers were moving the equipment toward the front “in plain sight—and paid the price.”
It is noted that the cost of the “Buk-M3” is estimated at $50 million.
Losses incurred by Russian retailers from the July 22 drone attacks on Wildberries warehouses in Krasnodar and Nevinnomyssk could amount to approximately 100–120 billion rubles (1.27–1.53 billion U.S. dollars), assuming the warehouses were fully stocked and most of the goods were destroyed.
On the night of July 18, Ukrainian UAVs attacked the Russian Wildberries logistics center in Elektrostal, near Moscow, and in the Tomsk region.
