Defense forces struck a tanker in the Black Sea, a pontoon bridge, and a concentration of occupying forces

On the night of July 23, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of key military and military-economic targets belonging to the Russian occupiers as part of a systematic effort to reduce their capabilities.

In the Black Sea, a Russian tanker that the enemy was using to transport oil, petroleum products, and fuel directly for the needs of its armed forces was struck.

At the same time, on land, Ukrainian forces struck an occupiers’ pontoon bridge in the Novoeekonomichne area of Donetsk Oblast, which was being used to deploy forces and equipment and to support military logistics. In addition, an area where enemy personnel were concentrated in the temporarily occupied city of Horlivka was struck.

As emphasized by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Defense Forces will continue to systematically take measures to undermine the Russian Federation’s military capabilities and put an end to its armed aggression.
