A warhead from an Iskander-K missile was discovered in Kyiv
Law enforcement officers discovered the warhead of a Russian Iskander-K missile in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv. A controlled destruction of the munition is planned at the site.
The Kyiv Police reported this on Facebook.
“Attention citizens! The warhead of an enemy missile will soon be detonated in the Desnianskyi district,” the statement reads.
The missile fragment was found in a wooded area. The area is currently under guard, and public access is restricted.

An investigative team, bomb disposal experts, and other specialized services are working at the site. According to police, specialists will carry out a controlled destruction of the dangerous object, so residents of nearby areas may hear the sounds of explosions.
