A market and several buildings were damaged in Kyiv as a result of an overnight attack
Two people were injured as a result of Russia’s nighttime attack on Kyiv. Fires and damage were reported in the Obolon and Holosiivskyi districts of the capital.
In the Obolon district, one of the markets was the hardest hit. A large-scale fire broke out there, which was extinguished by emergency responders. Two people were injured on the market grounds.
Also in the Obolon district, a blast wave damaged a building, and at another location, debris struck a non-residential structure.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a fire broke out on the grounds of a non-residential building. Rescue workers contained the fire.

In Zaporizhzhia, on the night of August 15, Russian drones caused two fires. Rescue workers extinguished the fires at a shopping center and a warehouse; no one was injured.
Russian troops carried out 971 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours. Forty-two settlements came under fire, and two people were injured as a result of attacks on the Zaporizhzhia district. There were also 44 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
