A woman who provided the Russian Federation with coordinates for strikes on the city has been convicted in Kyiv
In Kyiv, a woman was found guilty of treason and sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property for passing the coordinates of military facilities in Kyiv to the enemy. This information was used to plan and adjust shelling of the capital.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General proved in court that the woman was acting on behalf of representatives of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB). Throughout 2025, while moving around the city, she secretly recorded facilities, determined their exact coordinates, and transmitted the information to her handler via Telegram.
She was detained in Kyiv while carrying out another assignment. During a search of her phone, authorities found correspondence, coordinates, and photo and video materials confirming her collaboration with the enemy.
The Dniprovskyi District Court of Kyiv found the woman guilty of treason and sentenced her to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Earlier, a 49-year-old resident of Cherkasy was found guilty of treason and sabotage and sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Earlier, the Security Service of Ukraine detained a Russian agent in the Kharkiv region who was collecting data for missile and bomb strikes on Ukrainian military positions in the Kupiansk direction.
In addition, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained a Russian agent who, under the guise of fulfilling defense contracts, was coordinating airstrikes on Kyiv.
Prior to this, the Security Service of Ukraine detained an enemy agent in Zaporizhzhia who was attempting to infiltrate a strategic enterprise of the defense-industrial complex.
