An explosion occurred in the Black Sea off the coast of Koblevo; one person has been killed

An explosion occurred in the Black Sea off the coast of the village of Kobleve in the Mykolaiv region, killing a 45-year-old man.

Two other people were injured. The circumstances of the incident and the causes of the explosion are currently being investigated.

“Today, in the village of Kobleve in the Kobleve community, an explosive device detonated in the Black Sea. A 45-year-old man who was in the water was killed,” Reshetilov wrote.

According to him, two women who were on the shore sustained injuries. A 47-year-old woman received medical care at the scene, while a 63-year-old woman was hospitalized in moderate condition.

The head of the Regional State Administration emphasized that this tragedy could have been prevented: “The area was fenced off and marked with warnings about the danger of mines.”

The official reminded the public that swimming in the sea is prohibited within the Mykolaiv region.

This was reported by Georgiy Reshetilov, acting head of the regional military administration, on Telegram.
