There are still 784 civilians in the Kostiantynivka community
There are currently 784 civilians in the Kostiantynivka City Territorial Community in Donetsk Oblast.
“There are 784 people in the Kostyantynivka City Territorial Community,” said Yulia Ryzhakova, head of the regional administration’s Children’s Services Department.
She clarified that there have been no children in this community for a very long time.
According to Dmytro Pozharskyi, head of the Department for Citizens with Special Needs, the Ukrainian military is helping residents evacuate as much as possible.
“Our military is evacuating as many people as possible from those cities when neither the police nor rescue workers from the State Emergency Service can reach them. Whenever possible, the military evacuates people; it’s a small number, but such cases do occur,” Pozharsky noted.
This figure was cited during an online briefing at the Donetsk Regional State Administration, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
Ukraine is calling for Russia’s airspace to be closed to civilian aircraft.
