In Kostiantynivka, troops from the 100th Mechanized Brigade eliminated Russian saboteurs – video
Ukrainian troops carried out a unique operation to neutralize a sabotage and reconnaissance group of occupiers that was attempting to establish a foothold in a high-rise building in the industrial district of Kostiantynivka. To neutralize the eight saboteurs, assault troops used three ground-based robotic systems (GRS), one of which delivered 300 kg of explosives into the building.
This was reported by the press service of the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to intelligence, the sabotage group consisted of former prisoners trained to carry out sabotage and acts of terror. The operation took place in several stages: while one drone distracted the enemy, a kamikaze RRC drove into the rear and blew up the building, trapping the Russians in the elevator shaft. A third drone performed a logistical function, delivering additional weapons to Ukrainian infantrymen for the final assault.
Despite an offer to surrender, the occupiers resisted, resulting in the elimination of all eight saboteurs. The use of ground drones allowed the “Steel Hundred” assault team to complete the mission without any personnel casualties despite limited resources. Currently, the city’s industrial district has been completely cleared of the remaining enemy group.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a Russian missile carrier equipped with Kalibr missiles.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces denied reports of an attempt by a sabotage group to break through to Nikopol.
