Since the start of the day, Russian troops have attacked Ukrainian Defense Forces positions 57 times; the heaviest fighting is taking place in the Kostyantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to military sources, 19 attacks were recorded in the Kostyantynivka sector and 18 in the Pokrovsk sector. As of 4:00 p.m., some of the clashes were still ongoing.
Active fighting is also taking place in the Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Lyman, and Southern Slobozhanshchyna sectors.
In addition, Russian troops shelled border settlements in the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, and carried out airstrikes using guided bombs in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursky sectors.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine struck a Russian missile carrier equipped with Kalibr missiles.
