The Kremlin backed Trump's call for Zelenskyy not to strike Russian oil refineries
The Kremlin welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s call for Ukraine to stop striking Russian oil refineries. Dmitry Peskov, a spokesperson for the Russian dictator, stated that Russia welcomes any calls to stop attacks on economic infrastructure, noting that “any call on the Kyiv regime to stop strikes on peaceful economic infrastructure can only be welcomed.”
At the same time, the Russian leader’s spokesperson refused to answer questions about whether Russia itself would refrain from striking Ukrainian economic infrastructure if Ukraine agreed to Trump’s call.

Recall that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated: Russia, as an aggressor state, will face a response if it strikes Ukraine’s energy system this winter.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported on the results of Ukrainian long-range strikes aimed at weakening Russia’s capacity to wage war against Ukraine. In particular, Ukrainian strikes hit targets in Dagestan and Udmurtia.
