The Kremlin has stated that most Russians have no objection to a digital concentration camp

Most Russians reportedly view internet outages and the blocking of foreign messaging apps with understanding.

This confidence was expressed by the Russian dictator’s spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov.

“We are currently in a situation where security considerations dictate the need to take certain measures. These measures are being implemented, and, of course, the majority of our fellow citizens understand their appropriateness and necessity,” Peskov said.

He acknowledged that internet restrictions cause inconvenience and assured that “everything will be restored and normalized” as soon as the authorities deem it possible. At the same time, Peskov refused to believe that Russia has gone “back to the past” because of the restrictions.
