In Crimea, the SBU struck the occupiers' air defense systems and military airfields

The Security Service of Ukraine conducted a special operation in the temporarily occupied Crimea on June 24, as a result of which air defense systems near Kerch and the infrastructure of two military airfields—"Saki" and "Gvardeyskoye"—were struck.

According to preliminary data, four hangars used to store aircraft at the “Saki” airfield were put out of commission.

Additionally, according to the security service, infrastructure at the “Gvardeyskoye” airfield was also damaged.

Furthermore, near Kerch, two S-400 air defense systems and two “Pantsir-S1” anti-aircraft missile and gun systems were struck.

The SBU noted that this is already the fourth “Pantsir-S1” destroyed or damaged by the “Alpha” unit in this area.

“The Russian occupiers are losing control of Crimea’s airspace. Every air defense system destroyed and every military airfield hit opens up new opportunities for further strikes by Ukraine,” the statement said.

On the night of June 24, new strikes were also recorded in occupied Crimea. The most significant impact, according to reports, occurred in Sevastopol, where the Balaklava Thermal Power Plant was struck, causing widespread power outages and prompting the occupying authorities to impose special measures.

This was reported by the SBU.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully repelling Russian offensive operations and conducting effective counterattacks on several strategic fronts, significantly weakening the occupiers’ capabilities by disrupting their logistics chains.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine recorded 251 combat engagements over the past 24 hours.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are scaling up the use of new anti-drone technologies on the front lines.
