In Crimea, the Defense Forces shot down a Russian Su-24
The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a Russian Su-24 aircraft at its home airfield in Saki in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces noted that the extent of the damage to the aircraft is currently being assessed.
On September 15 and during the night of September 16, the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out strikes on a number of key military facilities belonging to Russian forces.
In particular, a Russian Su-24 was struck at the airfield in Saki. Experts are currently assessing the extent of the damage to the aircraft.
In addition, the Ukrainian military struck a number of targets associated with Russian drones and the support of the occupying forces.
In the area of temporarily occupied Donetsk, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a facility used for the storage, preparation, and launch of attack drones.
UAV command posts were also struck in Staromlynivka and Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, as well as in Pokrovsk in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In Dovzhansk, Luhansk Oblast, the Ukrainian military struck a Russian military ammunition depot.
In Rovenky, Luhansk Oblast, and Berdiansk, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, fuel and lubricant storage bases used by the Russian invaders were struck.
In addition, in the temporarily occupied Crimea, “Grenadier” reconnaissance equipment posts were struck in Suvorovo and Risovo.
Defense forces continue to strike military facilities, aircraft, drone control systems, depots, and the logistical infrastructure of Russian forces.

In Sevastopol, in occupied Crimea, Ukrainian forces struck a Russian BK-16 high-speed landing craft. A “Krasukha-4” mobile electronic warfare station was also struck in the area of temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

On the night of August 26, 2026, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck facilities at the “Lukoil-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez” LLC oil refinery in the city of Kstovo, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia.
Ukrainian strikes since July have put seven of Wildberries’ ten largest logistics centers in Russia out of commission, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. In particular, following the attack on August 16, the company’s large facilities in Domodedovo and the “Koledino” industrial park ceased operations; the latter covered an area of approximately 250,000 square meters.
On the night of August 26, drones again attacked the Wildberries logistics center in Kotovsk, Tambov Oblast, Russia, after which a massive fire broke out at the facility. According to Russian authorities, the fire covered at least 40,000 square meters, and one employee was injured.
Ukrainian drones simultaneously attacked a Lukoil oil refinery and a Wildberries warehouse in Russia.
As a reminder, the Orsk oil refinery in the Orenburg region of the Russian Federation completely halted operations following an attack by Ukrainian drones.
