In Kryvyi Rih, the number of people injured in a Russian strike on a residential building has risen to five. Meanwhile, doctors managed to save the leg of a 9-month-old girl, who remains in critical condition.
This was reported by the head of the city’s Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul.
According to him, once the child’s condition stabilizes, she will be transferred to Dnipro for further treatment.
“Regarding the consequences of yesterday’s strike on a residential building. A 9-month-old girl remains in the hospital in critical condition—with God’s help and thanks to the professionalism of our doctors, her leg was saved; she will be transferred to Dnipro for further treatment,” Vilkul said.
The child’s 23-year-old mother is also in the hospital; doctors assess her condition as moderate.
Three other injured women, aged 45, 56, and 74, received on-site medical care.
As a result of the attack, two five-story and one nine-story residential buildings, as well as private homes, were damaged.
In addition, 34 homes were left without gas supply due to damage to a gas pipeline. Emergency repair work and cleanup efforts are ongoing in the city.
