A fire broke out at a major Transneft facility in Bashkortostan (video)
On May 13, the "Nurlino" pipeline control station, one of the key hubs of the Transneft system, caught fire in the Russian region of Bashkortostan. Thick black smoke rose above the facility; the cause of the fire is currently unknown.

The Nurlino LPS (Linear Production and Dispatch Station) is located at a strategic intersection of major oil pipelines connecting Western Siberia with central regions of Russia. The distance from the station to the border with Ukraine is over 1,200 kilometers.

The day before, two districts in the Belgorod region reported problems with drone detection systems and urged local residents to keep an eye on the sky themselves. People are asked to report any drones to emergency services if they spot them, according to Russian media.
