A three-day period of mourning for the victims of the Russian attack has been declared in Merefa

The Merefyanska community in Kharkiv Oblast has declared three days of mourning for those killed in the Russian missile strike.

This was reported by city authorities.

According to an order issued by Mayor Veniamin Sitov, the days of mourning will last from May 5 to May 7.

During this period, national flags with mourning ribbons will be flown at half-mast on government buildings, businesses, and institutions, regardless of ownership.

Entertainment and concert events are also prohibited, and no entertainment music will be played in retail and dining establishments.

According to the prosecutor’s office, at least 36 people were injured as a result of the strike.

We previously reported that the number of people injured in the strike on Merefa had risen to 23.

On the morning of May 4, Russian terrorists launched a missile strike on the city of Merefa in the Kharkiv region. Preliminary reports indicate the strike was carried out using an Iskander ballistic missile.

Nine civilians were injured as a result of a drone attack on Zaporizhzhia carried out by the aggressor country on Sunday. Among the victims is a two-year-old child, and the ages of those injured range from 2 to 67 years old.
