Six regions of the Russian Federation are reporting a complete shortage of gasoline at gas stations

In six regions of Russia, gasoline has effectively disappeared from the market for the general public amid the fuel crisis. At the same time, in a number of other regions of the Russian Federation, fuel is available only at select gas stations, primarily in regional capitals.

According to a published map showing fuel availability, there are currently no operating gas stations open to the public in Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia, Chechnya, Dagestan, Magadan Oblast, and Chukotka.

In Dagestan, local authorities have imposed restrictions on fuel sales—no more than 20 liters of gasoline and 50 liters of diesel fuel per person. In Kalmykia, only one gas station is operating; in the Astrakhan and Kaliningrad regions, as well as in North Ossetia, there are two each; and in Tyva, there are three.

Despite this, regional authorities deny there is a shortage, attributing the lines to a seasonal increase in demand or reporting additional fuel deliveries.

At the same time, according to a Telegram channel, vehicles belonging to government agencies and officials in a number of regions are given priority when refueling. In particular, in Saratov, fuel at certain gas stations is dispensed only to emergency services, district administrations, Multifunctional Centers (MFCs), and “Russian Post.” A similar procedure is reportedly in effect in Volgograd and Krasnodar.

As a reminder, Ukraine announced that it had struck 19 Russian tankers carrying fuel for Crimea.

Emergency roaming has been launched in Crimea due to power outages.

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, amid blackouts, hotspots have begun to appear where people can use Wi-Fi and charge their devices using a generator.
