Power outages were reported in three regions of Ukraine due to attacks by the Russian Federation
As of the morning of September 10, new power outages have occurred in the Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions due to Russian drone attacks and artillery shelling.
“As a result of Russian drone attacks and artillery shelling, there are new power outages in the Chernihiv, Kharkiv, and Donetsk regions as of this morning. Restoration work is already underway wherever security conditions currently permit. Power company workers are doing everything possible to restore power to all customers as quickly as possible,” the statement reads.
According to Ukrenergo, restoration work is already underway in areas where the security situation permits.
Energy workers are working to restore power as quickly as possible to all consumers who were left without electricity as a result of the Russian attacks.
As of 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, electricity consumption was 2.4% higher than at the same time the previous day.
In light of this, Ukrenergo advises shifting heavy electricity use to the period between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., if possible. It is during this time that industrial solar power plants are expected to operate most efficiently.
Shifting consumption in this way helps reduce the load on the power grid during other hours.

One person was killed and two others were injured as a result of Russia’s morning attack on the Kyiv region.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to the Russian attack.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and injuring civilians.
